For owners and their advisers

Your adviser said “look into funding”. We link the numbers to the right lender.

Your accountant, bookkeeper or BAS agent has spotted a gap. We turn the documents you already have into a clear match with one suitable lender — secured, unsecured or a line of credit.

  • No credit check to enquire
  • One lender, not a crowd
  • Adviser friendly

You, the owner

The right lender

Matched to your file — $20k – $5m

A real person links all three

No credit check to enquire

Asking what's possible leaves your credit file untouched. A credit check only comes up once you choose to proceed.

One match, not a mailing list

Your file isn't fired off to a crowd of lenders. We read it, link it to a lender that suits, and tell you who before anything moves.

A real person on your file

A specialist calls you (and your adviser, if you'd like). Accurate answers on the form mean the first match is the right one.

Two ways in

Whichever side of the desk you're on

Owners get plain answers about what their adviser raised. Advisers get practical guides to referring and preparing a client.

Linking the numbers

Which document points to which loan?

Pick a document you (or your adviser) already have. We'll show the loan type it links to most strongly.

Four or more lodged BAS show turnover trend and discipline. Paired with bank statements, they're the main evidence for cash flow facilities, typically $5k to $500k.

Build the checklist before anyone asks

Choose owner or adviser, the funding need, your structure and what's lodged. The Link-up checklist builder splits every document into what the owner provides and what the adviser provides, shows which loan types the numbers point to, and copies a summary you can send straight to your adviser.

How it works

Four links in the chain

From the moment someone spots the gap to a matched option on the table.

  1. 1

    The need is spotted

Often by your accountant, bookkeeper, BAS agent, planner or coach — sometimes by you at 2am. Either way, it starts with a number.

  2. 2

    A 60-second enquiry

You, or you and your adviser together, tell us the amount, purpose and situation. No credit check to enquire.

  3. 3

A real person links it up

A specialist calls you, works out which documents point to which loan type, and speaks with your adviser if you'd like.

  4. 4

    One matched lender

Your file goes to a single lender that suits it — not a crowd. You see the option, the costs and the conditions, then decide.

Worth checking

What owners often assume — and what's usually true

"My accountant will arrange the loan."

Most accountants don't lend or broker. Their value is the numbers and the explanations — which is exactly what a lender needs.

"I need last year's tax return lodged first."

Not always. The last lodged year, plus year-to-date figures and recent BAS, often bridges the gap.

"An ATO debt means no."

ATO debt is considered case by case. A kept payment plan and a clear explanation change how it's read.

"Applying to lots of lenders improves my chances."

A cluster of credit enquiries can make a file look desperate. One well-matched application is the better move.

Questions owners and advisers ask

What does Business Loan Link actually do?

We link three parties: you, your adviser and the right lender. You (or your adviser) make a short enquiry, a real specialist calls you, works out which of your documents point to which loan type, and matches the file to one suitable lender. We don't spray your details across a panel.

My accountant said to look into finance. Where do I start?

Ask your accountant which number prompted the comment, roughly how much and for how long. Then use our Link-up checklist builder to see which documents you and your adviser will need, and make a 60-second enquiry when you're ready.

Can my accountant or bookkeeper refer me?

Yes. Advisers use the same enquiry form and note that they referred you, with their name and firm. We always call you, the owner, first and only speak with your adviser about what you've authorised.

Does enquiring affect my credit score?

No. There's no credit check when you first enquire. A credit check is only discussed once you've chosen an option and decided to go ahead.

How much can I borrow?

Property-secured business loans run from $20,000 to $5,000,000. Unsecured, cash flow and line-of-credit options for trading businesses typically run from $5,000 to $500,000, sized on turnover and bank statements. Business purposes only.

Do you consider ATO debt or past credit issues?

Yes, case by case. ATO debt is one of the most common reasons owners and their BAS agents get in touch. What matters is the overall picture — trading, any security and a sensible plan.

Do you publish interest rates?

No. Every facility is priced on the business's own circumstances — its trading, security, credit history and the loan itself. A specialist will explain the costs of any option before you decide.

Do you pay advisers for referrals?

We don't make any commission or fee promises to advisers. A referral is simply about getting the client matched with a suitable lender.
